Today's musings
One: There are two REAL candidates for the 2006 NBA MVP Award, Kobe Bryant and Lebron James. Lebron averaged over 30 points a game and over 5 boards and dishes (rebounds and assists) a game. Plus the Cavs won 50 games and got home court in the first round which meets the qualifications of the Mike Francesa's of the world voting for the MVP.
Two: Eddie Guardado is about a week or two from losing the closer's job in Seattle. He has blown three games in a week, one in Boston and two at home, one against Texas and last night against Chicago.
Three: On the political front, we need to suspend the federal and state gas taxes for 6 months to lower the price of gasoline.
