Back blogging again

I am back blogging again. I was busy with other stuff and won't return to full-time blogging until April 24th or so (after Pesach or Passover).

Wednesday night a friend and I went to Rosemont to see a minor league hockey game between the Chicago Wolves and San Antonio Rampage. The Wolves won 7-3. They scored five goals in the second period to take a 6-0 lead, four of those goals were scored in a span of 2 minutes. The rest of the game was a little sloppy but Wolves fans will take the win. They have won 7 in a row to make a final playoff push in the Western Conference of the AHL.

Thursday morning I had an interview with an insurance defense firm. Friday I was busy and went to Lakeview again for shabat with my cousins. It was really nice and I met a lot of nice people (both male and female). The more I am there the more comfortable I am and the more I realize this is where I want to be.

Final 4 stuff: Had I made the correct picks LSU would have been my "PC" choice for tonight's game. But they lost so UCLA is the choice because California is a blue state and Florida conjures up thoughts of Jeb Bush and Katherine Harris, etc.

Sox won last night despite a three hour rain delay (not a Tom DeLay, ha ha ha!!!). I did not rejoin the game as I was tired. It wouldn't be a bad idea for the Sox and Cubs to consider retractable roofs. The Brewers have one.

On this immigration thing: I understand that in the produce and other service industries that Mexicans comprise a good percentage of the work force. However, I would like someone to explain to me how come computer engineers from India, Pakistan, China, Japan, etc. don't have this problem of being "illegal"? Why does America only have this problem with Mexico (besides the fact that they're one of our neighbors)? Wouldn't Canadians want to enter here illegally as well?
