Cubs are shrubs

The Chicago Cubs are shrubs. They have lost 18 of their last 22 and just got swept by the Marlins. Why Dusty and Hendry are not in jeopardy of losing their jobs is because the Cubs act like Small-town teams instead of a big city. In New York, the manager would be canned today.

There is a solution, it's called Lou Piniella. You can even bring in Woodward if you like to be the GM.

Also I think that the Oilers will win the Stanley Cup. Assuming they finish off the Ducks tonight or Saturday night, they should be in good shape for the finals.

Too bad ESPN decided not to use Kevin Colabro for the West Finals. Instead they're using Mike Tirico. Colabro is worthy of this assignment. He worked the West Finals last year when San Antonio beat Phoenix in five games.

As long as either the Heat or Mavs get into the Finals, that's good enough for me.

Well that's what SHOULD happen, regardless of other considerations. It's embarassing that a HICK TOWN like St. Louis is twelve games better than the Cubs.
