Girardi bad choice

In my humble opinion, the Yankees made a bad choice by selecting Joe Girardi as their new manager over Don Mattingly. Mattingly is a lifelong Yankee and isn't viewed as the new Showalter, which is Girardi's reputation, at least based on one year in Florida. The fact that he was fired after one year is telling.
